Born in 1986, Gaia Repossi has been Maison Repossi's artistic director since the age of twenty. She studied anthropology at the Sorbonne. In 2007, she launched the Czarina collection, signed by Ere by Repossi, in hopes of cultivating a youthful market. The Byzantine-inspired collection was developed by Gaia Repossi and her childhood friend Eugenie Niarchos, a granddaughter of the shipping tycoon Stavros Niarchos. Niarchos and Repossi use four different golds and rose-cut diamonds to make earrings, rings, pendants, and cuffs. Prices range from €400-2,000. The Repossi website declares that the "Ere" collection is a "baroque" collection with "complex gold interlaces."
